Laser Focusing 101

3. **Focal Length:** The distance between the lens and the focal point is the focal length. Adjusting this distance affects the focus. For precise focusing, understand and set the ideal focal length for your specific laser and material.

4. **Beam Diameter:** The laser beam's diameter is also important. A smaller beam diameter allows for better precision but might reduce cutting/engraving speed.

5. **Lens Cleaning:** Keep the lens clean and free from debris or dust, as these can affect the focus and the quality of the laser beam.

6. **Trial and Adjustment:** Focusing a laser often involves trial and error. Utilize test materials to determine the optimal focal point for cutting, engraving, or any intended application.
